FAITH HEALTH CENTER

ESU

With the help of AIDSfreeAFRICA, the late Mr. Polycarp Nji opened the Faith Health Center in 2011. He acknowledges the crucial role of AIDSfreeAFRICA in helping to establish the health center in Esu. AIDSfreeAFRICA supports the project by working with the Cameroonian government’s Minister of Public Health and the local Health District Officers to legalize the center, to provide generic pharmaceutical drugs and medical supplies, to provide expertise such as a medical doctor from Europe, and to multiply support by involving other international organizations.

Cameroon Christian Welfare Medical Foundation (CAMCWEMEF) was founded by AIDSfreeAFRICA country representative, Mr. Polycarp Nji.

SIRITA HEALTH CENTER

NDOP

Starting June 2015, AIDSfreeAFRICA launched a new relationship with the Sirita Health Center in Ndop. With the help of our collaborator, Vitamin Angels, we were able to donate essential vitamins to the population. During her stay there, Dr. Hodel had the chance to speak with local inhabitants in order to educate them regarding malaria, HIV/AIDS, and other empowering topics. In addition, our volunteer, Michelle, spent 2 weeks in the clinic assisting with accounting and management to ensure operations ran smoothly and effectively.

ALPHA ROYAL CLINIC

BAMENDA

Dr. Christopher Anyangwe, MD, and former parliamentarian, with some of his staff at the Alpha Royal Clinic.  Dr. Anangwe has hosted and advised Dr. Hodel for years. In 2012 Dr. Hodel contracted malaria. Although over eight-hour bus ride away, Dr. Hodel boarded the night bus to rush to seek treatment at the Alpha Royal Clinic. Malaria is no fun but Dr. Hodel enjoyed the company of the Anyangwe children during her post-treatment recovery time.
